Experience
Many years of experience playing and teaching guitar. I have played in folk bands, rock bands, soul bands, and blues bands, both in my native UK and also since moving here to Santa Barbara earlier this year. When it comes to teaching guitar, I believe in acting as a guide to help students discover their own paths. I will not drown you in a deluge of exercises and theory, but instead help you develop your own goals and then assist you in achieving them. I like to explore musical possibilities and encourage creativity. However I am also well versed in the technical and theoretical sides to playing guitar, and will help you develop both your skills and knowledge - while having fun at the same time!
