Tutored at LACER Afterschool Program in Los Angeles for the Homework Academy for two years. Private tutoring for various kids. I enjoy teaching kids and helping them understand a concept that wasn't very clear during school. I've always been one to push myself past my limits, taking college classes as early as my sophomore year in high school. I've held tutoring jobs since the time I was 14 and I'm good at it. Last year I worked as a Resident Coordinator for the Apartment and Community Living at UCSB, and I was in charge of 100 residents. That included planning and organizing events, attending weekly meetings, being on call, and holding office hours. Last semester I attended the Language and Culture program at UC Center Florence, Italy. It was an amazing experience, living and studying abroad has broadened my horizons immensely.
