I am a fifth year at U.C.S.B. in my last quarter and I'm studying Mechanical Engineering and Physics. I have a 3.6 GPA in upper division.
Experience
I was a tutor in my home town (Visalia,Ca) and tutored math ranging from basic math (3rd grade) to college calculus. I was the only tutor on staff who could teach calculus and the service became popular and my boss raised prices only for calculus tutoring. I love to teach, and try to help students develop an interest for the subject. I am also a tutor for the ESTEEM program at UCSB which is normally reserved for graduate students, but since I've finsihed my engineering curriculum I tutor upper division mechanical engineering classes.

I'm 24 years old and I play water polo for the club team at UCSB, i also play guitar and sing. I used to do theater in high school and I miss it, but I spend too much time on school to currently join a play or musical. I have a very positive outlook on life and am usually in a good mood. I'm decently well traveled and can speak conversational German.
