I volunteered in High School as a tutor at Moral Values Program and helped fellow students understand their subject material. My test scores are as follows: ACT 29, ACT Writing 30, SAT Math 560, SAT Reading 680, SAT Writing 590, SAT subject test Math Level Two 560, SAT subject test Literature 640, and AP U.S. History. I want to be a tutor, because I understand that sometimes it takes more that hours and hours of studying to understand the subject matter. Sometimes hearing the material being taught a different way from a new person can make a world of difference. I have taken Physical Anthropology, Psychology, Academic Writing, Ecology of Disease, Middle East History, Calculus 3A, Calculus 3B, Statistics, General Chemistry 1A, and currently taking General Chemistry 1B. I graduated from St. Francis High School in Sacramento with Honors and I now belong to the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
