Teaching is my passion. After university, I plan on applying to the Teach for America program and then working on a master's degree while teaching high school. Naturally, tutoring in my spare time during college is an ideal job for me. I love teaching and working with children, and attempt share my passion for learning and education with my students. My experience: Two years previous tutoring experience at Sierra High School. One year peer counseling experience at Sierra High School. Lifeguard/swim instructor for Sierra Unified School District 4 months volunteer/paid staff experience with Isla Vista Youth Projects at IV Elementary (ongoing). 2020 overall SAT score 5 on AP US History exam 4 on AP English Composition exam 3 on AP English Literature exam 3 on AP Biology exam 3 on AP Chemistry exam I am proficient in university level American History, World History, Latin American History, Writing and Research, American Politics, International Relations, and Micro/Macro Economics.

Hobbies
I love both sports and music. In high school, I was a player and captain of the varsity water polo, soccer and tennis teams, and I currently am active in intramural soccer and tennis. I played clarinet and saxophone in the concert and jazz bands during high school, and continue to play guitar daily while away from home. I also love books; I will likely try my hardest to get my students to read regardless of the subject I am helping them with. Above all, I believe that education should be fun and interesting whenever possible.
