Education

I studied Mathematics and Physics at the University of California, Santa Barbara with an overall GPA of 3.78. I graduated in the spring of 2015 with honors in Physics and earned a 3.8 major GPA in Math and was awarded a Bachelor of Science in both subjects.

Experience

I have been tutoring privately for over 3 years and am currently working for Campus Learning Assistance Services (C.L.A.S.) at UCSB as a group tutor in Physics. I received a score of 2350 on the SAT score, and a 5 on the AP Calculus test. I love teaching math and science to others. I enjoy making seemingly difficult and complex concepts simpler and more manageable. The Math courses I've passed include Single-Variable and Multi-Variable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Non-Euclidean Geometry, and Topology. The Physics courses include Classical Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Stellar Structure and Evolution, Quantum Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and General Relativity.

Hobbies

I really enjoy playing water polo with the club team on campus at UCSB. I also love to go surfing at the many beaches around Santa Barbara and Goleta. Hiking in the mountains and back country of Santa Barbara is also one of my favorite hobbies. Art is also of great interest to me. I have always been into drawing and painting, as well as sculpting with clay and ceramics. Lately, I have been working on generative art designed with mathematical equations and produced with computer programming.
